Today, the Pakistan Peoples Party celebrated a significant victory as their candidate, Syed Owais Qadir Shah, was sworn in as the 12th Speaker of the esteemed Sindh Assembly. Here, the PPP's nominee, Anthony Naveed, emerged victorious with an identical vote count of 111, further solidifying the party's influence and control. The opposing candidate from MQM-Pakistan trailed with 36 votes.
