The Gilgit-Baltistan Education Department's Elementary School Teacher test, conducted through the Education Testing Council (ETC), has been temporarily suspended by a court stay order.

Afandi, Deputy Advocate General, along with Mr. Tufail Ahmed, Legal Advisor for
the Education Department, represented the petitioners in court. A significant
number of respondents appeared voluntarily without formal notice regarding
their transfer application. They voiced objections concerning my involvement in
the case, suggesting that it would be more appropriate for this bench to
refrain from hearing the petition. Given the expressed lack of confidence by
the respondents, I find it fitting to recluse myself from this matter.
Consequently, the petition will be referred to the Honorable Chief Judge for an
appropriate order.
